    There is also a Dairy Queen next door so this could be a nice lunch or snack spot.

    Volunteer run museum. Center piece is a large model railroad that fills the basement. My kids enjoyed watching the elaborate HO train setup. I enjoyed tye models of important landmarks in the railways between Thunder Bay and Winnipeg.

    We didn't go into the building but the admission was $2 per person or $5 for a family. Seems quite reasonable.

    While it wasn't open when we arrived, it was a great place to stop and stretch our legs. The kids like checking out the trains and there was a large parking lot in behind the museum.

    Basic museum. Rail cars outside all year and next to the ice cream shop. Bankers hours.
